All of these companies claim years of experience.

The technician for this known company that built these inserts must have been on drugs.  Chinese cells, no paper tubes, no washers, actually soldered the weld tabs together creating additional voltage drops that will effect the readings of any quality smart charger or analyzer.  You would think they bought one of those, "Make a 6 figure income from home", do it yourself books.

A very well known and respected aftermarket company battery pack.  PVC Shrink and No tubes, split PVC and split solder tab shrink equal a recipe for disaster.

  Bait and Switch.  These people were and may still be in the very Southern tip of the country. Unfortunately for us we did a little business with them in 1994, toxic.  In this recent picture of a battery that came in here for a rebuild we discovered the following.  The tubes were removed from the OEM cells for recycle use but this vendors practice is to leave the Sanyo label and part number on the tubes even though they are using Chinese cells which leak or low grade brand name cells which have probably been on their shelf for years. Plus, they cut the band which should not be cut, and they cut the case in the wrong position.

  Glue - "Bonding": These cases built by various West Coast Amateurs use Glue - "Bonding"  which will not hold, ruins the case, and allows No future recell or rebuild.
