Each battery stack is individually insulated by paper tubes for improved durability against hard bumps and elevated temperatures.

The integrity of the pack is achieved by glue (which is injected between each stack) and reinforced tape. Stacks are interconnected with nickel plated weld tabs for extra low resistance.
