It has become very difficult to impossible to find components for many of the battery chargers we repaired on a daily basis.  We would spend hours searching required components to discover that that component or a workable replacement component was not available for most of the chargers that come in for repair.  So, we no longer repair battery chargers.  A throw away society.

The inability to source components because they are no longer manufactured makes volume repair difficult to impossible.  It takes a volume of battery charger repairs to maintain those trained professionals on the payroll.

Mute: Our experienced engineers and technicians now have additional equipment, space, and staff to take on these new projects including repairing battery chargers.

Procedure:

We will inspect your battery charger and advise required components and labor cost verses the purchase of a new charger.  We promote PAG analyzers.

If the cost is acceptable we will go forward with your repair.

• Warranty on new parts placed in your charger is 30 days.

• Warranty on labor for those parts is 90 days.

• Warranty on your old parts still in the charger is: No Warranty

New issues with your charger are not warranty, but new issues.  This is not negotiable.

Normal disclaimers are active on these chargers.

Disclaimers

• Minimum service charge of $50.00 Non-refundable; Can be applied to total repair cost.

• Initial parts cost assessment determined during evaluation.  Quote given for signed approval.  Parts assessment subject to change upon installation and any new discovery.

• If the quoted cost is acceptable but after the work is finished new problems are discovered they are NOT covered under the original quoted cost.

• If the quoted cost is not acceptable your charger will be returned to you at YOUR EXPENSE after payment of initial non-refundable service charge. 

  • You will have 15 days to provide your freight carrier number or payment for freight cost before shipment back to you. 

    • After 15 days from notification a daily storage fee of $5.00 per day will begin to apply.

    • Any non-repaired equipment with unresolved freight issues after the 30 day notification will become the property of Rathbone Energy, Inc.

  • Any repaired equipment not paid for within 30 days of notification will be sold.
