System:
User-programmable, adjustable from 1.2V to 15V; 100mAh to 24Ah; up to 4A charge and discharge current per station; 2A on digital discharge. The charge and discharge currents are automatically scaled to lower C-rates on batteries with higher than 4Ah; intelligent power management protects overload conditions; accommodates nickel-cadmium, nickel-metal-hydride, lead-acid and lithium-ion. Batteries are tested against preset parameters; short and reverse polarity protected; multiple redundant full-charge detection. Tamper proof through security system.

Adapters:
SnapLock Battery Adapters hold up to 10 C-Codes; C-Codes can be added, edited, copied to other adapters, locked, reset and erased with the analyzer's keypad.

Basic programs:

QuickTest - Checks battery state-of-health in 3 minutes. If outside testing range of 20-90% state-of-charge, a brief charge or discharge is applied.
Auto - Exercises battery and automatically applies Recondition if target capacity is not met. (Recondition only applies to nickel-based batteries)
Charge - Applies fast charge only; no capacity readings are taken.
Prime - Prepares new and stored batteries by cycling battery until the optimized capacity is reached.
Advanced programs:
SelfDCH - Measures self-discharge of battery; rest time in which measurement is taken is adjustable.
LifeCycle - Cycles battery until capacity drops to the user-set target. Keeps score of the cycle count.
DCHOnly - Discharges battery to the respective end-of-discharge voltage while measuring the capacity.
ExtPrime - Applies 16-hour trickle charge prior to Prime. Activates battery after extended storage.
OhmTest - Measures internal battery resistance through pulse method.
Boost - Wakes up batteries deactivated by excessive discharge. Energizes protection circuit on lithium-ion batteries. (Pressing station key for 2 seconds also activates Boost)
Q-Learn - Obtains QuickTest matrices when scanning a known good battery. Duration is 5minutes.
Learn - Improves QuickTest matrix by scanning batteries with various state-of-health conditions.
Custom1-4 - Sets 4 user-defined programs consisting of charge, discharge, rest periods and repeats.

Data Port:
RS-232 for DYMO LabelWriter SE300 to print battery labels; printer to produce service reports; or PC to run BatteryShop™ software. C7400 also features parallel port.
